What would you do if I died today?
Every time I think about it, I have to pray,
Pray that you won't be the one to just let me lay,
Lay in such a cold, cold bed
Would you come to my side?
Would you come and confide?
Share the reasons why you put me on such a difficult ride..?

Maybe it will actually set me free
So I can be who I'm meant to be
Instead of being tossed around in an open sea
Trying not to drown
I swallow more water each time I hear your voice so loud
I call out, asking for help
Hoping for the slightest sound
That I might actually be found
And rescued… by you
But I should know… it's ju
Lonely
I'm tired of these lonely nights
Where everything seems out of sight
And I see no light
Sure, I've reached those heights
Where I feel happy
And free
But then I'm just thrown back down
It hurts so much when I hit the ground
I feel bound…
To you…
Nothing else matters when you're in view
The world around me just fades
But when you're gone, out of the shadows come the blades
Watching the blood pour out of veins, as it cascades
I feel like it's true
I feel like I love you
But how could someone be so rude
And have no effect? I'm still glued-
Tied to you
Maybe it has to do with what we did
I was just a mindless kid…
